The new six track EP, "The R&B You Love: Soul Of The '70s", from Kenyon Dixon regurgitates three tracks from his "The R&B You Love" album last Sep.
The three new songs are "Too Long", "Never Gonna Give You Up" (haha no not the Rick Astley song but a sweet soul ballad) and the best
of the bunch "Can I Have This Groove" another smooth soul ballad which is, for us, the only one resembling a
true 70s feel alluded to in the EP's title.
One from the previous album, "Wait", is rather good and has a Silk Sonic / Anderson. Paak vibe who seem to
have been instrumental in kicking off a 70s revival sound adopted by
several artists in recent years.
