Following the Tommy Tate post yesterday here's another, "If You Got To Love Somebody", which became popular circa 2000.
It was an unreleased promo from KoKo in 1977 and allegedly only two known copies exist. White label vinyl copies were
floating around in 2000 taken from a 1996 Japanese (P-Vine) CD "Soul Revelations The Complete KoKo Recordings", a different/smoother version.
Grapevine released it in 2003 as the flip to "Do You Think There's A
Chance" and it was later reissued by Kent in 2010.
The white label 'bootleg' had Byron Miller "Got To Get It Right (Radio
Edit)" on the other side.
