Spring Alexandria Birts a case worker from Austin, TX, who took a
leap of faith a year ago on 20 May 2020 releasing her first
single "Sunday" using the moniker Spring The Artist. It's success gave her the encouragement to continue and
she has now released eight singles and a debut four track EP "Summer Daze".
We posted her last two singles ("People Please" and "She Knows") together two weeks ago. If you haven't listened to "She Knows", then
give it a spin as it's probably her best to date and has a bit of a retro
vibe.
Our choice cut from the new EP is "Valley". Don't be lulled into thinking it's a dreamy ballad from the intro as it
picks up pace around 48 seconds in.
Spring's vocals are light and airy and very Sade'ish with her music, to
date, having a dreamy and ambient quality.
