An album "Soul Steps" released last week (28 Apr '23) by Berlin/San Diego based
The Everettes, some of whose members evolved from The Floorettes. They state that
their music is based on Stax, Motown and Northern Soul. The nine piece
group, fronted by three female singers Jess Roberts, Katharina
Dommisch and Laura Niemeyer, have been a fixture at The Baltic Soul
Weekenders since 2019.
In 2020 they released their debut, self-titled album and in addition have eight singles under their belt all released on Waterfall Records. The
first five appear on their debut album and the other three on the new
album (music videos for each below).
Our album picks would be "Forever True" and the last single "Calling Out Today".

You have to admit that the whole thing is very well done and you let yourself be taken in by a very pleasant soulful atmosphere.
