We gave you a preview at the beginning of May of Gavin Holligan's the new single, the
Richard Earnshaw Classic Vocal Soul Mix of "When Boys Become Men" (Radio Edit (4:02) and Extended (7:11). It was originally released as a single in Oct. 2021 and the remix It is officially released today which follows two very well received singles, "Same Old Story" and "This Hotel Is Closed".
On "When Boys BecomeMen" ex West Ham United professional
footballer Gavin Holligan paints a stark picture of his experiences of being the
underdog. The piece cleverly nods to his notable history as a former
pro footballer, whilst the lyrics tell a poignant tale of defiance
and outward bravado.
Gavin states that the song has always been a firm favourite to
perform live - "audiences absolutely love it!"
Once again he blends soulful vocals, jazz coloured instrumentation,
and compelling storytelling making music that will stand the test of
time, adding further legitimacy to his growing reputation as a
credible UK talent.
