Grammy nominated songwriters and producers Helen Bruner and Terry Jones release their new album "2nd Overture" next Friday (28 Apr). It's available to pre-order on
iTunes.
They have posted a video with samples of four or five of the tracks and
from the sound of these it's an essential album. The lead single is "I Can't Call It" and the album includes a new R&B Mix of their last single
"At Dinner 32" (23 Sep 2022).
They own and operate Philerzy Entertainment in Philadelphia, PA, and were Grammy nominated at the 51st Annual
Grammy Awards for "Baby I Know" from the Linda Jones album "Soul Talkin'" (2008) for Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance. The album
consists of previously unreleased material from Linda Jones and Bruner
& Jones featured on the nominated track and produced the
album.
Terry Jones is the daughter of Linda Jones who was sadly taken far too early in 1972 aged only 27 and is
still very highly regarded in soul circles.
