Dutch producer Thom Merlin, known for blending electronic and soulful vibes, collaborates with
British singer-songwriter (Richard) Osborne on vocals
for a new single "Try" set for release on 7 Apr '23 via independent label So, Let's
Talk.
It's a fusion of modern soul music, with an electronic lounge feel
which blends Merlin's soulful instrumental with Osborne's smooth,
laid-back vocals.
Osborne, from Ipswich, has previously attended the musicians
masterclass at BBC Maida Vale Studios in London and collaborated with
the likes of Grammy award-winning Dice Raw of the legendary group The
Roots. He independently released his first single "Complete" in Sep
2017. A remix by Canadian based producer Lucky Rose followed in
Mar 2018 which by Jun 2019 had received 10 million streams on Spotify
alone.
