Sadé Awele is a Vancouver (Canada) based, Nigerian-born artist (of both Igbo and Yoruba descent), who blends R&B, Jazz, and Afro-Soul.
She debuted with "Count on Me" in Sep 2018 and, after another four singles, released her debut, five track, EP "Time Love Journey" in Oct 2020.
Her latest single "Intuition" is the fourth since then and her first of 2023 which is from a forthcoming sophomore EP. It is one of the first songs that she has produced herself, an experience she describes as both daunting and liberating, allowing her to completely capture the sounds and ambiance she had in mind. The song features local Vancouver musicians Andrew Lo (piano), Adrian Fitzpatrick (bass), Harvey Paris (horns), and Molly Mackinnon (strings).
