A reissue of a 1981 single from Future Flight. It was the group's only single and both sides featured on their one and only eponymous album on Capitol in 1981.
Many of the songs on the album were written by Lamont Dozier including the two on the single, "Hipnotic Lady" (written solely by Dozier) and "Dues" with band members Tony Patler (also a member of General Caine/Kane) and Brynwood Tanner (aka Frank Dookum).
The record doesn't appear to be particularly rare, based on price and no. of copies available on Discogs, but there are no label scans for the B side "Dues" indicating that either most copies are same-side promos (of "Hypnotic Lady") or that issues are hard to come by. In fact the only ones available for sale currently are all same-sided promos, so it's "Dues" that is hard to find. Not any longer as the album will set you back at least a ton and up to £150 in top condition with original singles starting at around the £75 mark, so grab a vinyl reissue for a fraction of that.
Available to pre-order from Soul Brother for release in May '23.
