Loie Howard (pronounce low-ee) was born and raised in Brixton (South London) with mixed family heritage of Chinese-Trinidadian. She has been inspired by Jill Scott, Nina Simone, Lauryn Hill, Kate Bush and Eva Cassidy and began her musical journey as a songwriter but in 2021 released her debut single "Take You There".
She had a soul chart hit in the UK with the follow up "Hide My Feels" back in March 2022 year and followed up with "That's My Girl" in Jun '22 and then "Perfect" in Oct 2022.
Her latest single "Standing" was released 10 Feb '23.
