Dylan Chambers is originally from Arlington, TX, relocating to L.A. around a decade ago. Everything about his new single screams 60s from the sleeve design which looks like a 60s EP, through to the very commercial, retro 60s sounding, song "Don’t Give Up On My Love".
As a die hard, old school, soulie I just 'shouldn't' like it but it's undeniably catchy and radio friendly, just a bit too pop oriented for my personal taste but I'm sure there will be plenty who love it as it's a bit of an ear worm.
His recording career started in Aug 2020 with a debut single "I Can Do It Myself". He has an appreciation of late 60s/early 70s soul music and his third single in Dec 2020 was a cover if Jackie Wilson's "(You're Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher and Higher".
