Hugh Alexander is a Neo Gospel soul singer, producer and
writer from London who learnt his production skills working with great
producers like Errol Henry, (intimate) Steve Carmichael (The Affair). He
writes songs which bring a new and unique balance of Gospel Inspiration
and R&B soul music.
His latest single "Love Will Lead You Home" was released on Bandcamp yesterday and will be available on other
platforms on Friday (11 Nov). The song is dedicated to all of the people
who are away fighting wars that they did not start, they do not understand
and do not even want to be part of. Love will lead you home is a song but
it is also a prayer from the heart.
Hugh says that "I wanted to write a song for the people who are fighting
in wars around the world. I wanted to send them a message of hope. I
wanted to let them know God is watching over them and that love will lead
them home. This song took more than six months to make, it was like a baby
in the womb that didn't want to be birthed. but in the end I think it was
worth it."
Hugh also featured here earlier this year in January with a single
dedicated to Martin Luther King Day "One Day (Freedom Mix)".
