Nu Jazz artist Maxine Scott made a bit if noise with her last single "Eryka U Bad". Her follow up on Jo Wallace and Ashley Beedle's Ramrock label is "Ya Energy" which was posted from Bandcamp on 29 Jul but got a wider release yesterday (26 Aug 2022).
It includes the original mix along with another three mixes (North
Street West Vocal Remix, North Street West Dub and North Street
West Instrumental).
The beats for the new single were provided by Alf.E and Maxine wrote
the lyrics for them in 20 minutes.
Jo, Ashley and the third member of The North Street West crew,
Darren Morris, created the remixes.
