Not one to rest on his laurels Saint Jaimz presents
JChosen (aka Joshua Hunter) who is a singer, songwriter, actor
originally from Albany, GA, on a new single "What U Came 4". It's just one of three songs available on an EP "The Chosen One" due out on Friday (2 Sep 2022).
As a child he was bred on a diet of Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Smokey
Robinson, & Marvin Gaye records played by his mother.
Standing at 6ft 6ins he was a collegiate basketball player until an
injury ended his career. He switched to music and was selected as a
contestant on the
The Voice Season 12 in 2017 getting four chair turns, within 45 seconds, on his blind
audition for his rendition of Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing". The video
(included below) has currently almost 3m views and, by all accounts, is
the most viewed video for the season's YouTube page (which I can't find).
Since his appearance on the show he has opened shows for Hi-Five, MYA,
TANK, and Jagged Edge.
