An M People non-album track single 'Excited' is 'probably' the best song M People ever did back in 1992. A Judge Jules mix of it did feature as a bonus track on
some later editions of the CD album.
It is the fourth pre-released track (8 Jul 2022) from a solo album "Colour My
Life" by Heather Small which is due for full release on 5 Aug
2022. Heather is of course (for any any who don't already know), M People's lead singer and it is her first first solo album for 16 years and all the songs are reimagined with the help of Rupert Christie and the London Metropolitan Orchestra.
Another interesting track on the forthcoming album, yet to be released,
is a cover of ex-Temptation Dennis Edwards' 1984 club hit "Don't Look
Any Further" which features English opera singer Alfie Boa. So I've
tracked down an official video of M People's 1993 version which was the
follow up to their best known and biggest hit "Moving On Up" which got
to #2 on UK pop chart.
