I was originally going to post Sydney ChiChi (Sydney
Connors) for the single "Stay Away" released on 22 Apr, but she has since released a six track EP "11:11 Volume 1" on 30 Apr 2022 which was her birthday.
Sydney is from Cleveland, OH, and debuted only on 11 Apr with a single
"Frequency" (not included on the EP). Sadly, from viewing recent facebook posts,
her father died on 3 May 2022 and there is a memorial service from him on
Saturday, so sincere condolences to her and her family.
All songs are self-written, with "Stay Away" being the standout track which sounds familiar, so perhaps it has an
underlying sample? (the more I listen, the more convinced I am that it sounds like something else .. that I can't recall at present .. anybody?)
All tracks are marked as explicit but I certainly don't
hear anything particularly untoward in "Stay Away".
