A new single released today (3 Dec 2021) by
Bobby Harden & The Soulful Saints is a really authentic
late 60s/early 70s, crossover style tune "Feels So Good". It is also available to pre-order on 7" vinyl with "Wounded Hearts" on the flip from
Dala Records.
How good is this? It's hard to believe that this is brand new and not a
vintage recording. I was scratching my head trying to think what it reminded me of and I think the intro is similar to Elvin Spencer's 1971 crossover classic "Lift This Hurt" and has a similar feel? (included below for comparison).
