Taija Kerr is an Afro-Hawaiian living in New York city. She released
a debut album "7" on 7 Nov 2021. The lead single is "Goddess" which was released on 2 Oct.
It's a very good debut album. I personally think that the weakest track
is the one released as a single i.e. "Goddess" as there is much better
material on the album.
My choice cuts are "Top View", "Senses" and "Shoya Rice" (which is yet another that uses that recurring sample used so
many times already this year) but, as said, a pretty solid album on which
she wrote all tracks, a couple with Danielle P. Williams who is also a
features vocalist on "Top View".
