The first contemporary release since "Woman First" in May 2021 (although she did release "The National Anthem" in July) from multi-award winning Michelle Brooks-Thompson from Springfield, MA.
Her new single "Live It Up" is due for release this Friday (19 Nov 2021). Whilst "Woman First" was
quite a deep gospel tinged ballad, the new single is more of an up-tempo
number produced by Regi Myrix.
Michelle Brooks-Thompson first rose to fame as a finalist on The Voice (US) in 2012. As with
many powerhouse vocalists, she served her 'apprenticeship' in the church
with gospel music from a young age and is a graduate of the prestigious
Berklee College of Music.
