Tyke T (aka Tyrone Stroble from Memphis, TN) is a hip-hop
artist who debuted in 2017 with an EP "The Overlooked".
He's released a new album today (11 Oct 2021) "Written by Tyke T" which is a departure from his usual material.
It's a bit of a mixed bag with various styles but one track in particular
did hit the spot, the deep soul track "Won't Leave" which features Terrance Love and Karen Brown. The 90s new jack
swing style "Got Your Back" may appeal to some? The remaining tracks are
either R&B or hip-hop except "Present With You" which is a mid-tempo
southern soul style ballad.
