Kenzie is another new artist that I can find no info about.
She debuted in Feb with a single "Me, Myself, & I" followed by "Breathe" in May which is included on this, her debut, album titled "Kenzie's Place" released on 2 Sep 2021.
The tracks of most interest are "It's U" (the backing of which sounds very similar to Glory Million "Without Your Love" from their 2020 "Eight Tape" LP), "Isn't It Nice", "What's Up" (which is another that uses that recurring sample that keeps cropping
up at the start) and "11:11". There are several acoustic tracks on the album which just leave me
cold.
With a little bit of digging from writers credits to Makenzie L (Lee)
Conoway and her SoundCloud stating that she is from Jacksonville, FL, I
believe she may be the owner of a company called
Kenzz Cosmetics
in Jacksonville.
