Selina Albright is the daughter of jazz saxophonist Gerald Albright. She performed background vocal duties on several of his albums before embarking on her own solo career in 2009. It appears she had a hit with "You And I" in 2010 which has confused me as the track is on a compilation "A Train Tracks - Nu Jazz" which on Amazon is dated 1986 - surely it can't be?
She released a debut EP "Brighter" in 2013 which topped the UK Soul Chart and since then has released an album "Conversations" in 2017 and three singles until today (13 Aug 2021) when she released a new single "Jenny (Perfect Little Rows)".
Earlier this year she featured on Lin Rountree's fantastic album "Fluid" (which I gave a 9.5 rating) on the track "With You".
