Jon Vinyl (or as he seems to like it stylised JON VINYL) is
yet another artist from Toronto! He debuted with the single "Nostalgia" in
2017. Since then he has released seventeen singles, but as yet only one EP
(on which Loony featured on "Dangerous") and no albums.
His latest single, "Void", was released today (8 Aug 2021) which I would classify as soulful
R&B. It's pleasant enough, but without really going anywhere or moving me, which I'm afraid is typical of most R&B tunes from my perspective. They just don't 'get down' in my view and simply meander to the end.
