Earth Wind & Fire team up with Lucky Daye to reimagine "Can't Hide
Love" (from their 1975 "Gratitude" album) on a new track titled "You Want My Love". Released today (20 Aug 2021).
The song was written by Skip Scarborough and first recorded (as "You Can't Hide Love") by Creative Source in 1973 on their eponymous, debut album and was also released as a single. Many others have recorded it since including Carmen McCrae, Isaac Hayes & Dionne Warwick, Dionne Warwick (solo), Art Webb, Jimmy Smith, Hodges James & Smith, D'Angelo and even UK's own Kenny Thomas had a stab at it in 1993.
I predict that this is going to be a monster!
