Jennifer Hudson's new single was pre-released yesterday (18 Jun 2021) and
is an original song from the forthcoming Aretha Franklin biopic
"Respect" soundtrack (in which she stars as Aretha). It's a deep soul tune, and , as you would expect, sung in the style of Ree-ree.
Respect has been been delayed a few times due to Covid but is scheduled
for 13 Aug in the States and 10 Sep in UK.
Another Aretha series is currently being aired on Disney Plus
"Genius: Aretha All Hail The Queen"
starring Cynthia Erivo as Aretha.
