The first single release this year for Mac Ayres after his third album
'Magic 8Ball' was released 8 Jan 2021.
Maclean Daniel Ayers is a 24 year old blue-eyed soul artist from New York
who debuted in 2017 with an EP called 'Drive Slow', which he dropped out of
Berklee College of Music to complete. The new single is his eighth to
date.
I'm not sure about the 'pretentious' classical intro (what's that all about?), but it works up into
a real slow burner (no pun intended!) ... 'I like this one I do'!
Whilst looking to see if there is an official video to go with the track I noticed that already there are three or four 'pirate' videos (with lyrics) of the track posted on YT and it was only released yesterday, and the official one has had almost 7.5k views, so that may be an indication of how popular this is likely to become.
