A new five track EP from J-Wonn was released 19 Mar 2021. All tracks are
pretty good so it's hard to select the best, but if pushed I'd choose
'Meet Me' followed by 'Girl In The Mirror'.
He reminds me a bit of R. Kelly on some of the tracks especially 'I'm
Impressed' which is the most uptempo track and has a bit of a southern
soul feel about it, which should be no surpise as he's from Jackson,
Mississippi.
J-Wonn (aka Jawonn Smith / Jwonn) debuted in 2013 with a single 'I Got
This Record'. Since then he has amassed five albums, the latest being a
Christmas album in 2020.
