It's that time of the week when the new releases are drying up before the
weekend onslaught, so not many (good ones) around that haven't already
been posted.
This is a blue-eyed/brown-eyed tune from Brainstory released by Big Crown
on 20 Apr 2021. Brainstory are brothers Kevin (vocals/guitar) and Tony
Martin (bass) and Eric Hagstrom (drums) from Rialto southern
California. Their music crosses genres from jazz, soul, funk to
pyschedlic rock.
This track has a retro, blue-eyed, summery soul vibe. It
reminds me a little of
America / John Edwards 'Tin Man.'
