Larry Saunders Discography

Larry Saunders was mentioned briefly in an earlier post as the writer of Debbie Taylor's - All That I Have and I suggested that I'd put up some of his better tracks.  Well here they are.
Larry Saunders was known as The Prophet Of Soul and also recorded as Larry Sanders, Frankie Saunders, Frankie L. Saunders.

Larry Willard Saunders (7th Mar 1950 - 6th Feb 2012) from Mobile, Alabama, was the son of blues man Johnny Ace, brother to southern soul singer Lynn White and the biological father of neo soul singer Ledisi, whose mother Nyra Dynese was with a Louisiana R&B group called Coranova. Sanders left the family when Ledisi was a baby.

There is surprisingly very little info about him on the internet.

P.S. Not to be confused with Larry Sanders aka L.V.

Hello,

I have a question. Which was released first? Modern M 1053? Or Hot Cakes HC 201? I was under the impression that Hot Cakes was released in 67 and was later picked up by Modern in 68. Can you please clarify? It would really be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi
Thanks for your comment and pointing this out. You are correct I have 'transposed' the entries in the Discography - Hot Cakes should be 67 and Modern 68. I will correct.
