An 'unlikely' looking soul/funk band named
Sex On Toast from Melbourne released a rather good single
called "Oh Loretta!" back in 2015 which I have only just heard for the first time and the
video for it is quite amusing.
Check out James Corden's cameo appearance at around 1:58😉 Some really deep lyrics too "Loretta take off your sweater" and "Rebecca if you were a bus you'd be a double decker"! .. Hilarious! ... but what a groove!
I've also posted another track from them "Hold My Love" which was their second single from March 2014.
The band specialises in early 80's raw funk but I guess you'd pigeon hole these two tracks as yacht soul.
