The Royalty Duo album "Marriage" was posted way back in Feb and has done very well on all UK soul charts
but dropped out of the Top 10 on UK Soul Chart this week falling a
massive 19 places to #27.
However, on 1 May they released a video for
"Due Benevolence" which follows on from the video for the very EWF like "Bada Ba Ba (Stay Together)" on 6 Mar perhaps suggesting that they're pushing it as a new
single?
If they peered across the pond they may appreciate that the most popular track from the album appears to have been "This Is The Most High", probably followed by "Forever".
Royalty Duo are husband and wife duo Tony Tatum and Shira Yarona Israel from
Georgia and Tony Tatum also features on the new "California Funk Machine" compilation of 70s/80s covers singing lead on the cover of Maze's "Back In Stride".
