King Sis feat. R.A.D. [2024] - Come Gimme Love (/.Rad Go-Go Remix) [Epidemic Sound]

King Sis (Sis Mills from DMV) was prolific in 2023 committing in April to release new music every two weeks for six months which she sustained until August.

In April '21 she released her debut album "Ascension" and last week released a Deluxe edition of it which added seven tracks. Two of those seven are remixes of tracks on the original album. 

Perhaps she would have done better by packaging up many of the singles released last year as the only new track of interest, for us, is the R.A.D. go-go remix of "Come Give Me Love"?

King Sis [2023] - Hindsight [Epidemic Sound]

Well it must be two weeks since we had new material from King Sis as she has another double helping out today. We didn't post her last pair as didn't think they were up to scratch.

The latest offering is under the banner "Hindsight" which includes two songs "baby back" and "save yourself". The better of the two, we think, is "save yourself". 

We wonder at the policy of releasing music every two weeks as inevitably the quality will begin to wane and perhaps some will tire of it, but it's getting her noticed and as long as the quality is consistent then all is good. We'll leave you to decide!

Another prolific artist is Spring the Artist who also has a new single out which is the fifth in twenty days and her fifteenth release this year which we are deciding whether to post.

Sometime 'less is more' as there is a risk of overexposure.

King Sis [2023] - History [Epidemic Sound]

Maintaining her commitment to release new music every two weeks since mid March '23, King Sis released "History" today. 

We gave her four track EP "Pendulum" two weeks ago a swerve, as felt that it leaned too much towards R&B, but her latest outing is much better.

King Sis (Brittney Mills) originates from the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) but relocated to L.A. where she worked as a session singer. She emerged as a solo artist  in Jan 2020 and released seven singles that year, followed by another four in 2021 before her debut album "Ascension" in Apr 2021.

King Sis [2023] - Seasons [Epidemic Sound]

True to her word, King Sis stated in mid March that she would be releasing new music ever fortnight and right enough she has and last week she released two tracks under the title "Seasons". We gave it a listen last week but didn't really 'feel it' (compared to her earlier material) but one of the tracks "Close To Heaven" has crept up on us.
