Kem [2023] - Anniversary - The Live Album [Motown] (Full Album)

In celebration of his 20th anniversary at Motown, Kem takes us on a journey through his back catalogue on his first ever live album "Anniversary - The Live Album" recorded at The Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre in his hometown, Detroit, last Autumn (2022). 

Within the twelve tracks, there is at least one track from each of his six Motown albums and his latest EP "The Full Circle" and includes his signature songs "Love Calls" (Kemistry) , "I Can’t Stop Lovin' You" (Album II) and "Share My Life" (Intimacy).

I'm not normally a big fan of live albums but this one is exceptional.

Kem Feat. Brian Culbertson [2023] - Lonely (Alex Di Ciò Drum Mix) [Jus' Groove]

An Alex Di Ciò Drum Mix of Kem's "Lonely" which first appeared Kem's 2020 album "Love Always Wins" although a seemingly stripped back version was included in his "The Full Circle" EP last year.

It's only available via Bandcamp, at present at least, and was released on 16 Feb '23.

Two videos included below, the first with Brian Culbertson (Sep or Nov 2020) on piano and the second a Tiny Desk concert (Nov 2020) with  David McMurray on saxophone, Lonely is @ 7:57.

Kem Feat. Rick Ross [2022] - Right On Time [Motown] VIDEO

A new video is available for one of the choice cuts from Kem's "The First Circle" EP (released on 22 Jul) "Right On Time" featuring Rick Ross.

Kem's next project is a live album commemorating his 20th anniversary at Motown. It has been recorded earlier this month during two shows at The Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre in Detroit  and is set for release on 25 Nov 2022.
