Native New Yorker Destiny La Vibe Music (Destiny Jael Brown-Hernandez) last featured here with a single "Starlight" in Feb '23.

Destiny writes all of her lyrics and produces her own vocal arrangements and broke onto the music scene during the Summer of 2022, releasing her first album "Up Down Love" (Sep '22). Since then she went back into her studio and began recording her sophomore album titled "Positive Vibes Only". The first single from it was "Starlight"  (17 Feb) followed by singles in Mar, Apr and now her second this month "Drum Roll".

She grew up listening to a plethora of music from Gospel, Soul, RnB, Disco, Funk, Hip Hop, and honed her vocals while singing in church as a child. Her first concert was to see the legendary Tina Turner in 1996 during her Wildest Dreams Tour. Her earliest influences were Tina Turner, Patti Labelle, Brandy, Lauren Hill, Betty Wright, Melisa Morgan, Erykah Badu, Bonnie Raitt, Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, Kim McFarland, the Clark Sisters, and so many other soul stirring singers.

Destiny La Vibe Music [2023] - Starlight [LaVibe Music]

Destiny La Vibe Music (Destiny Jael Brown-Hernandez) broke onto the music scene during the Summer of 2022, releasing her first album "Up Down Love" (Sep '22). Since then she went back into her laboratory of soulful vibes and began recording her sophomore album entitled "Positive Vibes Only". The first single from it is "Starlight" released today (17 February '23). It's funky, jazzy, soulful, and of marked with her signature ability to create a vibe!

Destiny La Vibe Music [2022] - Up Down Love [Self Released] (Full Album)

Destiny La Vibe Music seems to be led by Destiny Jael Brown-Hernandez. They/she emerged only last month with a single "Red Lips" (12 Aug) and have released a single each week since, with the album "Up Down Love" appearing on the fourth week (2 Sep 2022) which included all three singles.

Her voice sounds seasoned (but I'm not able to find any information about her) with the musical style distinctly old school. The track that appeals most is "Different" but the uptempo merchants will probably plump for "Call Me In The Morning". Why is that the soulful tunes generally get overlooked for dance tunes for airplay ... it's a radio show not a night club ... where else is this kind of music going to get exposure?
