Sofia Donado is a 23-year-old Colombian, originally from Chicago now
resident in Miami, who goes by the artist name Lil $o$o. She began
singing as a way of healing after her partner was shot while sitting in
his car in 2019 leaving their son without a father.
After four singles in 2021-22 ("Better Life", "Go Ooh," "Bad Attitude,"
and "Woo Tang") she released her debut album "$o$o World".
Her material
is generally hip-hop but the new single, "Passion", is a more mellow neo soul
affair.
