This Hayes & Porter written song, "As Longs As I've Got You", was originally recorded by The Emotions as an unreleased
demo and then recorded on Stax imprint Volt by The Charmels in 1967 and has gone on to gain a large underground following.
The Chamels started out as The Tonettes releasing two singles on Volt in
1963 later changing their name to The Dixiebelles when signed to Sound Stage
7 where they released around five singles between 1963-64. They returned to
Volt in 1966 after line-up changes renaming themselves The Charmels and
released another four singles. This was their penultimate release.
In 2013 Colemine's Kendra Morris recorded it on her "Mockingbird" album and a
      Reflex Revison
of it appeared in 2019 featuring Jimmy Ruffin.
Nicole Bus has used it several times in various mixes of "You" since 2018. It doesn't sound like a sample (not of any of the versions we know at least) so we presume that she is actually singing it?
A new version has been released by Micayla Rivera.
