A song written by Dave Crawford, who was also responsible for Candi
Staton's "Young Hearts Run Free" a couple of years later, is the basis for
this 12" release from Sadar Bahar & Marc Davis
which they have simply titled "Disco".
It is, of course, The Mighty Clouds of Joy's "Mighty Cloud of Joy" from their 1974 album "This Time" which also got a single release which made it across the Atlantic which
I've owned from back in the day and always wondered why it wasn't huge.
Pure Philly magic recorded at the famed Sigma Sound Studios with
Messrs Baker, Young & Harris on the rhythm section. Cheap and
easy to pick up on original 7".
The flip side, titled "Beatdown", is a Latin instrumental affair which I have no idea about.

Both sides will be out early Dec on 12" vinyl only by Dublin based Fatty
