Soul veteran Jerry Bell has appeared here a few times already this year ("Keep It Real" and with a reissue
"Tell Me You'll Stay" / "Call On Me") so you will know he is soul royalty being the younger brother of Archie and cousin to Thom Bell, Robert 'Kool'
Bell (Kool & The Gang) and Al Bell founder of Stax Records and was a
member of both The New Birth and Dazz Band.
His latest single is a classy ballad "Believe In Love" released on 28 Oct 2022. This is a real grower, listen to it a few times.
Thanks to Roger 'Soulsorts' Williams who tipped me that this was originally released by another Dazz Band (and Kool & The Gang) member Skip Martin in 2015 on a self-titled four track EP and was in his top 5 of the year.
