Janisa Valerie Weekes aka janïsa is from Toronto and debuted in 2019 with a single "Lonely". Her first recording since then is "Fly Away" released on 13 May 2022. It starts off very slowly with almost a full
minute intro before it kicks into a pleasant mid-tempo neo soul
ballad.
Like so many soul singers, janïsa grew up singing in church in the
Alberto prairies. She is working on a debut album "Isolation".
