This is a bit of a strange one as South African Dj Jazzy D The GrooveMaster
released 23 tracks all around the same time (end of Aug beginning of Sep)
all with the same artwork but not as an album, all as singles. However, it transpires that these tracks are from a forthcoming project titled "The Soul Project vol 2".
They include covers of several classics such as EWF "After The Love Has
Gone", Al Green "Let's Stay Together", HM & Blue Notes "Don't
Leave Me This Way" and Anita Baker "No One I The World". I'm afraid
most of them sound like 'karaoke' versions!
"Stepping With You" featuring TP, released 31 Aug 2021, is probably the best of the bunch which is a cover of Andre Lee from "Story Of Life" album 2012.
Credit for, presumably, ploughing through all 23 tracks to find this one, goes to DJ Kool Keith who played it on one of his recent shows.
