single from a forthcoming new album "Jam & Lewis, Volume One" due 9
Jul 2021, which celebrates 35 years since they first started to produce their own album and, believe it
of not, this will be their debut album.
Two other tracks have been pre-released "Til I Found You" featuring Sounds
Of Blackness and "He Don't Know Nothin' Bout It" featuring Babyface. Other
artists on the album include Mary J. Blige, Tony Braxton, Heather Headley,
Charlie Wilson, Boyz II Men and Usher.
Jimmy Jam Harris and Terry Lewis have been legendary
songwriters/producers since 1981 forming Flyte Tyme Productions, initially working with S.O.S. Band, Alexander O'Neal, Cherrelle and Change.
They have produced dozens of hits, including
around sixteen Billboard Hot 100 #1s, nine of which were with Janet
Jackson and one with Mariah Carey "Thank God I Found You" in 2000. One that may be a surprise is Human League "Human"!
