I imagine that Durand Jones & The Indications is a dead cert for entry next week as it is full of great tracks, so the album will be on heavy rotation all around. I like the Lady Frequency find. If Tom Bailey only got a one week look in with "Love And Happiness" I don't hold out much hope of the latest single entering, but who knows?.

Dyanna Fearon is a remix of a track released on 12 Feb 2021 already posted, but the new mix is more subtle, not as frantic and sounds better. Dyanna Fearon is the niece of 80s Brit-funker Phil Fearon of Galaxy.

P.S. I've made several attempts at contacting Soul-Intention to obtain a promo without response. I believe that it may only be made available on vinyl? A couple of the tracks have been previously released e.g. "Get Into Your Life" and "Praying For The Rain" (featured on Soul Togetherness 2014). There are a couple of copies of "Just Gotta Have You" floating around on YT showing album sleeves for The Drizabone Soul Family (Vince Garcia was a founder of Drizabone) but I can't find it on either of their albums!  You can listen to samples and pre-order from FER.

The Breakers

Ten breakers this week, and only three not yet posted, Devin Tracy, ebdl & Miller Blue and Sasha Laine. 

From last week's breakers Rasida (as predicted), along with Melonyx's EP Black Elixir and D Mills, were Global Soul chart entries this week #15, #9 and #14 respectively. I still don't think Hill St. Soul "Blessed" has been released yet but from the number of views it's had on the blog I suspect it will be  high chart entry when it does get released. One I'm fairly sure may make an entry next week is Tygressa.

Another post getting a lot of attention is Spechel "Come By" which has more than double the views of the next highest viewed post in the last seven days, which is Hill St. Soul.

My tips to chart from this weeks breakers are Lady Wray and Alanna Royale, although both have a bit of a retro feel which might hold them back.

From this week's I think the 'most likely' chart candidate would be Estee Pierce and with a bit of luck Tygressa although it hasn't had the same promotion as Estee yet, but I think perhaps it might get in the following week.

The Breakers

Only six breakers played again this week as another interview was included in the show, this time with Michon Young who spends her second week on the top spot. 

Five of last week's six breakers were new entries into the Global Soul chart this week i.e. Estee Pierce, Rati, Melonyx, Latanya Alberto and Iyamah. Estee Pierce was the blog's 'Selection of the Week' last week and Franklin picked up on Melonyx from the blog as it was posted on day of release, although I tipped the other track 'Energy'.

Only two of the breakers have been previously posted, one of which I only found yesterday and 'prompted' Franklin to include as a breaker which he gave the blog a 'shout' for on the show. Thanks Franklin!.
