In a very slow week for new releases, here's one for southern soul lovers from Portia P. A video was released 2 Jun and the tracks is showing as released 2 Jun and also 16 Apr 2021, so perhaps they're having another go by re-promoting it?

No amount of re-promoting is going to sell it to me as this just isn't my kinda music! It just meanders/plods along and doesn't go anywhere. 

It appears to be her debut release and I can find no further info about her.

Yung Miss [2021] - One Of Those Days / Second Chances / I'm Good (& still LP) [Heavenly Records Music Group]

A couple of tracks from a new album, "& still", from Yung Miss (aka Connie Clark) from Perris, CA. 

"One Of Those Days", and perhaps a couple of others "Second Chances" and "I'm Good", are the only tracks of interest on the otherwise hip-hop album from Yung Miss. Both are quite short, in fact four of the eight tracks are under 2 mins, so more like interludes. It's her third album since debuting in 2018.

Lauryn Nichole is a new artist from Pontiac, MI, who debuted last Oct with a single "Cope", She has released another since then ("Issues") and released her latest single "Seventeen" on 12 Jun 2021.

All are very R&B oriented, but in week where good new releases are in the minority, it's one of very few I can find so far this week.
