Jae Alise [2024] - Pages [Self Released]

Jae Alise (Janae Singletary) is a relatively new artist from Tampa, FL, Her first single was released in 2019 followed by another in 2022. The third single, "Love Like You" from last year, is included on a debut six track EP "Pages".  All her songs appear to be self-written.

The standout for us is the soulful and mellow "90 Days", one of those contemporary songs but with also a retro feel that should have across the board appeal. "Paper Heart" is also a lovely song. In fact the whole EP is rather pleasant and well worth a listen for those who appreciate 'soul' music over beats and gimmicks and all that nonsense! Good, soulful songs well sung and produced we don't need lo-fi, afrobeats, breakbeats, ampiano, rap, vocoder, samples etc, etc, as a substitute for good honest music.

Melodii Rozett [2024] - RED [Self Released] (Full EP)

Melodii Rozett from Broward County, FL, began singing in church from an early age. She released her first EP "In My Feelings" in 2014.

She is currently working on her debut album "Do Not Disturb". In the meantime she's released a four track, R&B oriented, EP "RED" today. All tracks are marked as explicit but we like the sound of the opening song "Love Language".
