Jarrod Lawson Live @ Islington Assembly Hall, London 7th July 2019

Following on from Jarrod Lawson post of his new single a very nice chap has posted a video of the full concert from Islington Assembly Hall (London) on 7th July 2019.

Jarrod Lawson [2020] - Be The Change [Dome]

Regular readers will no doubt already be aware of my admiration of Jarrod Lawson and, after waiting several years for a follow up to his highly acclaimed 2014 debut album, this is his second album in a year after Nov 2019's Orpheus - Visions.

Featured here is the title track and first release off his new album 'Be The Change' released on 30th Oct 2020. Good to see Jarrod Lawson back on form.  This is already topping the UK Soul Chart (as of 9th Nov 2020).

Album (CD/LP/Download) seems to be only available from Amazon ... but buy it direct from Jarrod's site (as presumably he will get e better percentage of sale?).

Unfortunately no sound clips available yet ... but you know that you're in for a treat so just take the plunge and buy the album blind!  All reviews on Amazon so far give it 5 stars!

UPDATE - after a bit of digging I've come across a playlist on YouTube with all the tracks.  It's great to see the previously unreleased track 'Love Isn't Always Enough' (which I have posted here before) is on the album - this is worth the price of the album alone!

Charlie Wilson Feat. Smokey Robinson [2020] - All Of My Love [Self Released]

Brand new single from ex Gap Band leader Charlie Wilson featuring the legendary Smokey Robinson released on 23rd Oct 2020 and already #4 in UK Soul Chart. This has across the board appeal - real soul is still alive and kicking in 2020!

It is unbelievable to think that Smokey Robinson is now 80 (born 19th Feb 1940) and still performing!

Seems to be download only but 'may' feature on a new album?
