UHANI [2023] - Organic [BTMB]

Another hangover from last Friday's releases that we haven't got around to posting, is from UHANI (another artist that we can find nothing about) with her third single "Organic".

She released her first single "Free" in Feb '22 and a second "Triggered" in Sep '22 (looking heavily pregnant on the cover image) which is the better of the two.

We did discover that BTMB means Bringing The Music Back and the company is based in Yorba Linda, CA, headed up by Rick Ward, so presume that UHAMI is from, or around, L.A.

Writer credits on all three songs include Jamaal Royal and Tiffany Ginger, we would guess the latter is UHANI.

Daizha [2023] - Matter Over Mind [Day One Ent.]

Daizha (Daizhanique Richardson) is a new artist from Seattle, WA. She debuted in Nov 2021 with a single "Not Tryna Fall In Love" and followed it in Oct '22 with "Grave Mistake". Her third single "Silk Sheets" (20 Jan '23) was her first appearance here.  

Her latest single "Matter Over Mind" was released last Friday (21 Jul) which is another light 'n' wispy neo soul song which we don't feel is quite as fine as "Silk Sheets" ... more like Egyptian cotton 😉.

As is often the case, a music video was released in April, long after we originally posted "Silk Sheets" in January, which we've included below so you can decide whether you agree with our assessment.
