Estee Pierce [2023] - Baby I'm Ready [Branamion Records]

It's been over a year since the last single from Estee Pierce ("Slide" (Jun '22), but he's back with a cover of  Levert's "Baby I'm Ready" (from "Rope A Dope Style" 1990).

The song has been covered in recent years by others that have been posted, namely Eddie G (Dec '21) and Nicholas Davis, (Nov '21).

We also note that in June Pierce reissued his 2016 album "Life Stories".

Whilst the single is on Spotify, there is currently a technical problem playing it, but we've included it as hopefully it will be rectified. Unfortunately we can't find it on YouTube. We have a sneaking suspicion that it may have been withdrawn as Amazon is stating that it's not available for purchase.

Estee Pierce [2022] - Guilty [Branamian Records]

Estee Pierce caused a stir last year with his first single since his debut album "Life Stories" in 2016 (excluding a Christmas single in 2019).

"Spoil You" hit the top of the Global Soul chart at the end of May 2021 and he followed it up quickly the following month with "Celebrate You" which also charted.

A new single "Guilty" slipped out relatively unnoticed on 4 Feb 2022. It's an old school style ballad in the southern soul style.

Alanna Royale #1 on Amazon

Great to see the SoulStrutter Selection of the Week Alanna Royale "Fall In Love Again" currently topping the Amazon Hot New Releases chart today (15 Jul 2021).

Also Estee Pierce "Celebrate You", which I had a world exclusive on at the end of June is currently #4.

Note that the chart changes hourly so may not still be there if you look later.

Estee Pierce [2021] - Celebrate You [Branamian]

Yesterday I received Estee Pierce's new single but only posted a short sample until I got Estee's approval to post the full track.

He's come back to me today with a release date of 4 Jul 2021 (next Sunday) and has given the nod to post the full track, so here it is.

If you didn't see yesterday's post, I said that I think this is going to be another hit to follow up his recent Global Soul chart #1 "Spoil You" which topped the chart for two weeks and spent several weeks on the chart, only dropping out yesterday.

Estee is a very humble man (he was interviewed on the chart show the week his single made #1) and released a superb album "Life Stories" in 2016. He's an independent artist making 'real' soul music who doesn't quite realise how good he is. Check out the album and his two recent singles and if you like them, then please support him by making a purchase so that he can keep bringing us great music.

A very pleasant surprise greeted me this morning in my inbox - the new single from Estee Pierce, and what a beauty it is too. I think he's got another hit on his hands to follow up his recent Global Soul chart #1 with "Spoil You".

.

I'm awaiting a response from him as to when it will be officially released and will keep you posted, but in the meantime I'll post a snippet to whet your appetite.

It got it's premier last night on Franklin Sinclair's New Music Hour on Global Soul radio.
