Kate Usher is from Montalk, NY, and released her debut single "What You Read About Me" today (22 Feb 2022). However, her Soundcloud and YouTube channels have music by Kate Usher & The Sturdy Souls, who released an EP "Shades Of Blue" in 2018 followed by a single "Dreams" in 2020, so this is actually her debut solo release.
Although listed as soul/R&B, I think it's perhaps a tad on the pop side for purists!
