Muva Dame (aka Denasia Arrington), originally from South
Jamaica ('Southside'), Queens, NYC, now living in Atlanta, GA, debuted
in Dec 2019 with "Girl Code" and followed it up in Apr 2020 with "Tell Me" and now releases her debut album "Denasia" today (22 Feb 2022) which includes both singles.
A word to the wise upfront, ALL tracks are marked as 'explicit'. I think
I'd describe the album as soulful R&B. The standout track, for me, is
easily the debut single "Girl Code" with the best of the rest probably being "I Hate It Here", but I'm no expert on this type of material so you may think differently. However, given the
explicit nature of most/all tracks none are likely to receive radio
play.
