Posted earlier this week on promo, the new single "Live It Up" from Michelle Brooks-Thompson produced by Regi Myrix is released today (19 Nov 2021).
The first contemporary release since "Woman First" in May 2021 (although she did release "The National Anthem" in July) from multi-award winning Michelle Brooks-Thompson from Springfield, MA.
Whilst "Woman First" was
quite a deep gospel tinged ballad, the new single is more of an up-tempo
number produced by Regi Myrix.
Michelle Brooks-Thompson first rose to fame as a finalist on The Voice (US) in 2012. As
with many powerhouse vocalists, she served her 'apprenticeship' in the
church with gospel music from a young age and is a graduate of the
prestigious Berklee College of Music.
